About ISTO

INTERNATIONAL STEAM OLYMPIAD is an online test platform which helps students evaluates their STEAM quotient towards 21st century skills in a time bound manner.

ISTO methodology and standards are in-line with International Olympiads which offers an intuitive learning experience through coding, reasoning, logical ability and life skill based questionnaire.

ISTO is organised Makebot globally through various international partners across the globe, working on delivering STEAM education to kids from K-12. ISTO offers ‘Two Levels’, Qualifiers and Advance through an online platform using multiple choice evaluation.

ISTO is applicable for students 7+ years.

  • Review curriculum and reference material
  • Pay ISTO Fee and schedule their online Olympiad
  • Student gets access to 3 mock tests with answer keys
  • Student can also connect with Makebot partner to take guidance on ISTO
Scheduling & Taking ISTO
  • Student have option to schedule ISTO for specified date and time
  • Student can reschedule Olympiad (only once)
  • ISTO Qualifiers have multiple choice questions with time limit and negative marking
  • Curriculum is divided evenly and age-wise
  • Marks and rank will be displayed immediately after the Olympiad

Qualifiers & Advance Levels

Qualifiers Stage

  • Top rank students from each age-group will be shortlisted from each country
  • Students can take paid re-test to improve their scores/ranks. Best score out of all tests will be considered.
  • All students from Qualifier stage will receive university certification
  • Students rank cut-off date will be communicated through portal
  • Change in rank will not be considered after that date
  • Shortlisted students will compete with students from across the globe in advance stage

Advance Stage

  • Students will participate in similar format Olympiad with higher complexities
  • Curriculum and reference materials will be given to shortlisted students for Advance stage
  • Sign-up fee is not applicable for Advance stage students
  • All students will receive certification for Advance stage separately from qualifier stage
  • All Olympiads will be conducted in English and online only.
